SignalWire, a leader in software-defined telecommunications, has raised a total of $41.6M in funding over 5 rounds, with their latest Series B round on March 23, 2022. With a strong market presence, SignalWire needed a website that effectively communicated its advanced telecom infrastructure and accelerated growth.
Our mission was to create a website that not only looked modern but also simplified complex information, making the user journey seamless and conversion-driven.

Before: Communicating Complex Tech Clearly
Before the redesign, SignalWire's existing website faced several challenges:
1. Outdated Design Language
The previous design didn’t fully capture the cutting-edge nature of SignalWire’s AI-powered telecom solutions.
Inconsistent visuals led to a fragmented user experience.
2. Lack of Brand Voice Cohesion
Messaging was not unified, impacting how the brand was perceived.
Multiple CTAs created friction in the user journey.
3. Underutilized Developer Appeal
The site didn’t fully resonate with developers, the primary audience for SignalWire’s APIs.
Limited technical illustrations and contextual UI previews.
After: Developer-First Microsite Design
We rebuilt the Microsite with a developer-first approach, modern aesthetic, and streamlined user flow.
The goal was to amplify brand voice, enhance user engagement, and support SignalWire’s strategic vision.
1. Stronger Messaging & Positioning
✅ New headline: "Telecom APIs for AI Agents That Talk and Text."
Clearly defines what the product does and its AI-driven approach.
Subtext simplifies the offering, making it easier for both technical and non-technical users to grasp.
2. Modern Design Language & Brand Voice
✅ Sleek Dark Theme with neon accents for a futuristic and technical feel.
✅ Consistent Visual Hierarchy ensuring a seamless user journey.
3. Developer-First Experience
✅ Code-based UI Previews to resonate with SignalWire’s target audience.
✅ Enhanced product demonstrations tailored to developers’ needs.
4. Strategic Brand Positioning
✅ Microsite design to amplify SignalWire’s voice in the AI telecom space.
✅ Supporting internal discussions on visual branding and strategic positioning.
Results & Impact
The new Microsite achieved the following:
Amplified Brand Voice: Strengthened SignalWire’s AI narrative, making it easier for users to understand the product’s value.
Enhanced User Experience: Streamlined navigation and improved readability.
Internal Alignment: Led to productive internal conversations about visual branding and strategic direction.
This was a Microsite transformation designed to enhance brand voice and user engagement, supporting SignalWire’s strategic vision without replacing the existing website.
